Job Description

Responsibilities include and are not limited to: Record all sales and payables into QuickBooks, assist Controller in reconciling bank accounts, import and manually input data into QuickBooks, file and pay monthly sales taxes, send bi-weekly accounts payable reports to CEO, remit weekly payments to vendors, credit card transaction entries and reconciliations, record journal entries for intercompany transactions, audit invoice coding, periodically assist restaurant managers with coding invoices, support CEO & Controller in all financial matters of the organization, including generation of ad hoc reports, requests, and financial analysis.  

Ideal Candidate 

  • Familiar with all things QuickBooks 

  • Experience in restaurant or hospitality industry

  • Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals 

  • Technology literate 

  • Familiar with Google Drive and related applications

  • Adaptable to new procedures and is a quick learner 

  • Reliable, consistent, and committed 

  • Acts with integrity and professionalism 

  • Excels in multi-tasking and task prioritization to ensure workload is maintained

  • Working knowledge of POS software required, Toast and RPower preferred

  • Detail oriented and thorough with all procedures 

  • Strong organizational skills 

  • Builds trust through personal accountability 

  • Brings good energy with a positive mindset

  • Collaborates with others to achieve together 

  • Critical thinker, able to anticipate and solve potential issues

Requirements 

  • Minimum of four years bookkeeping experience 

  • Minimum of three years QuickBooks experience 

  • Proficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft 365 and Google Drive 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to take complex concepts and communicate succinctly and accurately

This is a full-time, in office position. Our office is staffed between the hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale.
